Tuition Assistance

 

The German International School Boston offers a Tuition Assistance Program.
For further information, please contact our Head of Admission.

Tuition Assistance will be provided from a fund allocated by our Treasurer and our Board of Trustees based on the financial situation of the school.

The Tuition Assistance Committee will decide on tuition assistance based on the results of an objective “Family Report” from School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS, which has a well-established process and provides assessments for most private schools) and the school’s tuition assistance budget which may vary from year to year. The Tuition Assistance Program is available to families with children starting in Entry Level Assistance is limited to a maximum of 50% of the cost of tuition. Decisions of the Tuition Assistance Committee are final and cannot be appealed. 

Applying for tuition assistance consists of the following two steps:

  • * Completion of an SSS form (available at the school office)
    * Submission of a written request with a detailed explanation of the particular hardship
